COURSES: Inventory Management and Prim Manipulation

I will be giving a couple of my famous classes Friday 27 and Saturday 28 March.  I will be doing each class twice, once over at Dark Alley at NOON and the same class again at Velvet Thorn at 2:00 pm slt.

PRIM MANIPULATION

Not as kinky as it sounds :-)  This course will teach you all about all those arcane things in the edit window and how to use them to manipulate your world, arrange your attachments and your living room.  It can be considered a beginner building course in that by the end you will know how to create, edit, texture and move the prim building blocks of SL, but it is geared to non-builders on the whole.

 This hour long HANDS ON workshop is conducted in English using SL voice.  It is not necessary to be able to speak but the ability to listen will be required.  Each participant will receive a prim object to follow along with during the course so that you get a firm understanding of the mechanics of editing.

If you cannot make  2:00 pm at Velvet Thorn you can pop over to the Dark Alley at Noon slt, I will have a transporter at the landing to direct you to the course.

Taming the chaos that is the SL Inventory system!

No matter if you are complete noob in SL or a seasoned veteran there are surprise tricks and tips in this course that you will learn!

Topics of discussion, how to begin getting organized without becoming overwhelmed, and how to back things up and what things you can safely get rid of.

It will include visual aids to show you strategies for organizing and maintaining your inventory for maximum findability and usability.
